OBDX Pro GT Release – GM Diagnostics and Flashing

The OBDX Pro GT turns your laptop or smartphone into a GM diagnostic scanner, with J2534 and D-PDU support for dealership software.

The OBDX Pro GT is the next generation of the OBDX product family. It turns your laptop or smartphone (iPhone and Android) into a cutting-edge diagnostic scanner for monitoring live vehicle data, reading fault codes and even flashing vehicle computers.

It is designed specifically for General Motors (GM) vehicles, including Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, Buick and Holden. It also supports many other manufacturers’ vehicles through the OBD2 CAN protocol used in most modern vehicles.

As well as most OBD2 smartphone apps, such as Torque and DashCommand, the OBDX Pro GT supports dealership software through its SAE J2534 and D-PDU APIs, making it one of the most capable tools for GM vehicles.

Main features:

  • USB, Classic Bluetooth (Android), BLE (iPhone) and Wi-Fi (Android and iPhone)
  • SAE J2534 support, tested with Techline SPS, GDS2, DPS and multiple other J2534 applications
  • Tech2win D-PDU support (still in beta)
  • Support for iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android smartphones
  • GM’s primary OBD protocols: ALDL, J1850 VPW, CAN and GMLAN
  • ELM327 OBD2 applications for smartphones and Windows PCs

Not sure which protocols your vehicle uses? Our OBD2 pin guide shows what each pin carries and which OBDX Pro uses it.
