OBDX Pro GT Tech2win D-PDU API Release

The SAE D-PDU API (ISO 22900) is now supported on the OBDX Pro GT, so it works with GM's Tech2win dealership diagnostics.

The OBDX Pro GT now supports the SAE D-PDU API (ISO 22900), so it works with GM’s Tech2win. The Tech2win D-PDU installer is on our Downloads page.

Like the SAE J2534 standard, the D-PDU API lets scantool makers support many dealership applications by meeting the D-PDU (ISO 22900) standard. For GM, Tech2win is the only diagnostic application they provide to the public that supports this API.

Tech2win is a professional GM diagnostic application for dealership-grade diagnostics on GM vehicles, typically from 1990 through to 2012. It can be purchased from the ACDelco website.

We have tested the OBDX Pro GT with Tech2win on multiple Holden parts:

  • Instrument clusters
  • Body Control Modules (BCM)
  • Engine Control Modules, including the P01, E40, E38 and E55
  • Transmission Control Modules (TCM)
  • A variety of other modules found in VT to VE Holden Commodores

The D-PDU API has been designed specifically for Tech2win, so it may not work well with other vehicle manufacturers’ software. We can add support for other software, but we will need access to it to make sure we meet all of its requirements.

Note: Tech2win support is still in beta. Some vehicles and modules may have trouble entering their Tech2win menus.
