OBDX Pro VT SAE J2534 API Release

The OBDX Pro VT now supports the SAE J2534 standard. The OBDX Pro VT J2534 installer is in the Legacy Downloads section of our Downloads page.

J2534 is one of the most widely used standards around the world, typically used with dealership software and a range of commercial software.

• We have tested our J2534 API using GM’s SPS1 and Techline Connect software to update GM P01 and P59 ECUs.
• It will also work on any other GM ECU that uses the SAE J1850 VPW OBD2 diagnostic protocol.

This release marks an important milestone: J2534 support bridges the gap between basic and dealership-grade diagnostics, and makes it available to everyone.
